VIDEO: Falls Church Rolls Out W&OD Trail Safety Tips in New Video

Watch the video here! W&OD trail crosses seven intersections in Falls Church.

The official first day of spring is just days away, and with the warmer temperatures comes an increase in use of the Washington & Old Dominion Trail (W&OD).

Walkers, runners, cyclists, and other trail users may only find themselves in the City of Falls Church for one and a half miles of the trail’s 45 miles, however, in that short span, their path crosses seven busy intersections.

This fact makes navigating the trail in The Little City a unique challenge, and requires the coordination and cooperation of all users. Before you hit the trail, the City of Falls Church and the Falls Church Police Department invite you to check out our new Trail Safety video and familiarize yourself and your family with ways to stay safe.

More tips are shared from the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority on the City Web page, www.fallschurchva.gov/TrailSafety.
