Skyline Towers Murder-Suicide: Police Identify Victims
Police found two people dead in an apartment at Skyline Towers Monday.
Fairfax County Police have identified the two people involved in what appears to be a murder-suicide at Skyline Towers on Monday.
The two people have been identified as Lakshmi Bhat, a 62-year-old woman, and Anand Venkata, her 36-year-old son-in-law, according to a Fairfax County Police Department release. The incident was domestic in nature and police reported that Venkata may have shot and killed Bhat before killing himself. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will make the final determination.
Police were called to Skyline Towers on the 5500 block of Seminary Road Monday morning after residents heard shots fired.
